The mystery of thawed water

Winter is a very special time, a period of water’s exclusive zone just as it is freezing and thawing.

 

There are three well-known states of water: liquid, ice and gas. But the phenomenon of the exclusive zone of water, discovered some time ago, is the fourth phase of water, the fourth state.

Water itself is a mystery. The first fact that makes the behavior of water “strange” is that water is the only element on earth that expands instead of contracts when it freezes.

 

Many people are deliberately fascinated by freezing water. But what really makes frozen and thawed water so special? And is it healthy to drink?



Most people freeze water for two reasons.

The first is to purify the water chemically and the second is for information.

How do you unfreeze water properly so that it is chemically pure?

 

If the aim is to purify the water chemically, then some of the frozen water must be discarded.

During the freezing process, the water compresses all dissolved minerals and other elements into the very center and outer edges of the ice. This can also be observed with the naked eye. The more dissolved minerals in the water, the more pronounced and larger the white “core” in the center of the water will be.

If we let the outer edges melt and get out the ‘white core’ in the center of the water, the water that is left over will be almost pure H2O. This method of water purification can be used if we want to purify the water chemically.

But if the water chemistry is of good quality to begin with, e.g. good bottled water freezes in the car in winter, then this method of discarding the core is unnecessary, as we do not want to get rid of the healthy minerals in the water that our bodies so desperately need. 

Minerals from water are absorbed by the body most efficiently and even more effectively than those from artificial mineral additives.

What water you shouldn’t drink?

Pure H2O without minerals is definitely not what you should drink in the long term from a health point of view, because of the ‘aggressive’ nature of such water. Pure H2O (also osmo-filtered) starts to take up minerals from the body. Such water, especially pure water, can be used for a very short period of time if, for example, we are doing a cleanse, but not on a daily basis and not in the long term.

The second reason that thawed water is so special is its “informative” state. In non-traditional science, water that has changed its aggregate state from liquid to crystalline (ice) and back to liquid, or from liquid to gaseous and back to liquid, is considered to have undergone informative purification. And the reason for this informative purity is precisely that the pre-existing clusters – order of water molecules is disrupted.

So if a bottle of water in the car freezes in winter, when it thaws, it will be informationally purified. This could be called a “bonus process” for those who agree with this theory.

What else happens in the freezing and thawing process?  

The fourth phase of water, discovered not so long ago, besides the liquid, gaseous and icy states we are so familiar with. The fourth phase is the Exclusive Zone (EZ) of water.  This phenomenon was discovered by Professor Gerald Pollack, one of the world’s most famous water scientists.

So, what is EZ water? 

It is a special phase that water enters shortly before changing its aggregate state. I like to compare this state of water to the liquid terminator in the movie Terminator 2, which had the property that it could take on any external appearance. But before the terminator changed its appearance, it first turned into a mercury-like mass for a while, and only then did change its appearance.

Water behaves in exactly the same way before it changes state. It initially becomes EZ water, or Exclusive Zone water. And only then it takes on its next aggregate state.

 

So if you have a bottle of water in your car that is about to freeze or thaw, it’s exclusive zone water. And the most interesting thing is that in the cells of the body, water is in this EZ water gel-like, crystalline form.  It could also be called living water because it has an ORP (oxidation potential) with a negative charge, which also acts as an antioxidant.

It is not for nothing that children like to “eat” icicles or snow in winter, as it is the most pure living Exclusive Zone Water.

 

How to increase exclusive zone water in our body?

EZ water is like a battery in the body that keeps us healthy.

Drinking freshly frozen water will not be enough to multiply the EZ water in your body.

 

If we are exposed to sunlight and fresh air for at least an hour every day, the EZ water in the body will expand and multiply. Sport and regular exercise, sauna, grounding, ice-cold water, infrared radiation, sufficient quantities of high quality water, minerals, and healthy fatty acids are what is needed to keep the EZ water in the body in optimal shape. Under optimal conditions, EZ water literally expands inside the cells and the body becomes firmer, feeling good and healthy.




How long does water stay in the EZ zone?

Unfortunately, the water in this exclusive zone only lasts for a very short time. And to drink it, we literally have to drink barely melting ice water. It will keep its properties a little longer if we thaw it in total darkness.

What water is better to drink, cold or warm?

I am not a fan of drinking cold water myself, and most often recommend warm water, following the traditions of Eastern medicine. From an Ayurvedic point of view, cold water takes away the life energy that accumulates in the solar plexus region. So, when we cool the solar plexus with a large amount of cold drink, we lose life energy. Also, cold water, from the Ayurvedic point of view, increases the so-called Vatta, or air element, in the body. Often people with increased Vatta (air element) suffer from various joint problems.

 

But if the water in the car is frozen, then of course, small, small sips of EZ water will not be refused by me. Because it’s really something very, very exclusive.

 

Don’t do this to your water!

What you definitely shouldn’t do in winter with frozen PET water bottles is put them on radiators to thaw them out. Because not only will the ice in the bottle melt as it warms up, but the heated bottle itself will spoil the water. Better just to let the water thaw at room temperature.

3 steps: how to choose water?

To answer this question, it is necessary to clearly understand what is what?

Similar to choosing a car, at the beginning we find out its year of manufacture, mileage, engine capacity, type of fuel and consumption. Then we go on a test drive and only then decide whether the car meets our needs.

It should be the same with water, because they all differ in origin, composition of minerals, purity, functionality and taste.

Most people perceive water as carbonated, still, tasteless or salty. Not realizing that every water has many different parameters that describe its properties.

Three steps to pay attention to when choosing water

 

  1. Water category:
    • Natural mineral water. From the underground with an unchanged original and satabile mineral composition;
    • Natural spring water. From the underground with a changing mineral composition;
    • Drinking water. Any type of water.
  2. Total mineralization (TDS) – “total weight of mineral salts in water per liter – mg/l”. This parameter signals how much and how often we can drink water.
  3. The third step is the choice of water already according to its specific properties – it can contain a certain dominant, prefered mineral salt, or on the contrary – if one of the salts is in very little amounts. 

For example, water that is low in sodium, or water that is low or high in magnesium and calcium, or any of the many characteristics that characterize water.

Before jumping into deep and complex analysis of the composition, it is important to understand the basic principles by which to navigate.

When traveling, and I am in an unfamiliar environment and choose water, the first thing I pay attention to is – is it natural water? A question may immediately arise here – how can water be natural or unnatural and how do they differ from each other?

In the European Union, all bottled waters can be divided into three basic groups:

* natural mineral water;

* natural spring water;

* drinking water.

Waters with the word “natural” in the category (natural mineral water or natural spring water) mean that it is always obtained only from underground sources and its composition has not been artificially influenced. There is nothing artificially added to it and nothing filtered that would significantly change the natural composition of the water.

Drinking water is also tap water. But when you read the inscription on the label “drinking water”, it does not necessarily mean that it is tap water. If the place of birth of the water – well number – is not indicated on the label, then it is very likely that the water was really filled from a central water supply source, from the tap.

All other types of water fall into one of the main basic categories mentioned above.

For example, in Germany, therapeutic or bio waters may only be in the natural mineral water category, because natural mineral water is the only type of water whose chemical composition does not change seasonally and is stable.

The stability of the water composition is important. For example, if the medicinal effect of water is studied, then, of course, there can be no question of a variable composition. 

That is, through medical research, we find out the specific effect that water can have in optimizing our health. But if the mineral composition of the water changes seasonally, due to its origin, then the effect we expect from it also changes accordingly (because the mineral composition of the water is variable.)

Also in terms of taste, when you advise water to fine restaurants to accentuate the taste of food or a selected wine, the stability of the water composition is also important, because the desired taste effect must be predictable. 

Therefore, among water connoisseurs, natural mineral water is highly valued due to its strict certification requirements. By the way, natural mineral water is the only food product that requires official state recognition.

The composition of natural spring water and drinking water may vary from year to year. Is it bad? No, it is what it is.

Natural spring water, just like natural mineral water, must always be bottled only at the water’s birth place.

On the other hand, the requirements for drinking water are the most flexible and it can be any type of water that meets the safety requirements of drinking water. It can also be surface water such as lake or river water. Drinking water may be filtered or artificially enriched with minerals.

What is safer to drink? Mineral water or drinking water?

There is still a misunderstanding in society that drinking water is what you can drink every day and natural mineral water is what you should drink in limited quantities. But it is not so!

Where did such a myth come from? It originated back in Soviet times, when the water classification system was different than it is today in the European Union. 

Water with a total mineralization of less than 1000 mg/l of mineral salts was considered to be in the drinking water category.

At that time, drinking water, or table water, had a literal meaning. “Water that is safe to drink”. It is water that can safely stand on the table and can be drunk in unlimited quantities, because the amount of mineral salts in such water does not cause harm to the body when it is consumed in large quantities on a daily basis. 

And, in turn, mineral water was considered to be water containing more than 1000mg/l of mineral salts. Further, these mineral waters with excess amounts of mineral salts are divided into semi-medicinal or medicinal waters.

Such a water classifier still exists in Russia, Belarus and many other countries of the former Soviet Union.

Returning to the European water categories, they have nothing to do with the amount of dissolved mineral salts, because any water contains some amount of mineral salts.

The only water that does not contain mineral salts is distilled water or water filtered with an osmotic filter. It robs the water of everything it has. Both desired content and unwanted content. Such water is completely empty and is not desirable for long-term drinking.

Any water that meets the above requirements can become natural mineral water. Ultra-light mineralized water – up to 50mg/l – can also be certified as natural mineral water.

In the European Union, according to the total amount of mineral salts, waters can be divided into:

* up to 50mg/l – ultra low content of mineral salts;

* from 50-500 mg/l – low content of mineral salts;

* 500-1500 mg/l – medium content of mineral salts;

* over 1500 mg/l – water rich in mineral salts.

Mostly, the “saltier” taste of water is felt, starting from above 2000 mg/l. And a strongly salty taste will be felt starting from 3000 mg/l and above.

The interpretation of the amount of mineral salts may be different in different countries, but the amount of mineral salts recommended in the European Union for the water we use on a daily basis in larger quantities is recommended up to 500 mg/l.

It is preferable to drink “heavier waters”, but in smaller quantities and not so often.

The total amount of mineral salts is not always indicated on the bottles.

What composition of water will affect the skin?

One water differs from another.

Before emphasizing any particular component of water, it is important to understand the basic principle of the diversity of water itself.

According to the effect on the skin and general health, the waters can be divided into three groups.

  • Inefficient or unwanted water – filtered: does not contain essential micro and macro elements.
  • Neutral water – the natural composition has not been changed: it contains a balance of micro and macro elements.
  • Water with added value – it is water that contains skin-affecting elements in a certain concentration.

 

What kind of water is less effective or even undesirable for the skin?

 According to studies available in PubMed on the effects of water composition on the skin, it has been found that there is a significant difference between disinfected, microbiologically safe tap water, filtered many times, and mineral water of natural origin, which natural composition is not artificially changed.

Water consists of micro and macro elements.

Micro elements are all those elements that occur in water in very small concentrations and are mostly not indicated on the bottle label, but they are always present in water: Cu, Zn, I, Fe, Li, Si.

Macro elements are those that are mostly indicated on the bottle label: Ca, Mg, K, Na, Cl, SO4, HCO3. These are elements that are present in water in much higher doses than trace elements.

Micro-elements in water play an equally important role as macro-elements, because the effect of macro-elements is unthinkable without the presence of micro-elements. They literally complement and depend on each other.

Therefore, it would not be desirable to use osmotically filtered water (which is completely purified from micro and macro elements) as base drinking water in the long term. Such completely pure water, which is close to distilled water in its properties, is also aggressive by nature. This means that it tends to take something for itself from the environment it enters. Waters that have been filtered by adding back only macro elements can also be attributed to this same class. Such water cannot be considered optimal either.

Water of neutral effect

All natural waters with a neutral, balanced composition of minerals could be included in this class. Neutral water means that it doesn’t have enough skin-enhancing elements to emphasize it as an essential feature for the skin. Everything depends on the concentration of the specific mineral.

The concentration of each element present in the water determines the nature of the water and also the effect to be expected from it.

For example, all waters have a certain amount of magnesium. But for water to be legally described as containing magnesium, it must have at least over 50 mg/l of magnesium. And water rich in magnesium will contain more than 150 mg/l. Likewise with all other elements found in water.

Water for skin with added value

Waters that improve skin and health are definitely natural waters that are not filtered. Micro- and macro-elements in the water are very important for skin and health: calcium, magnesium, potassium, zinc, copper, selenium and silicon.

What refers directly to skin care, silicon (Si) can be mentioned as particularly important of the above-mentioned elements.

The micro element silicon is mostly found in water in various forms (H2SiO3, HSiO3, SiO3).

A sufficient amount of silicon in the body is important in all age groups. Silicon has a beneficial effect on the synthesis of collagen and elastin, and improves the body’s ability to absorb calcium. Silicon helps strengthen the body’s connective tissues—muscles, tendons, hair, ligaments, nails, cartilage, and bones—and is an important component in maintaining healthy skin. It is not for nothing that silicon is considered the absolute beauty-enhancing trace element.

A lack of silicon can cause skin to lose elasticity, which leads to premature aging and slower healing of skin wounds.

Insufficient silicon can also lead to calcification, increased risk of myocardial infarction, and other problems related to calcium overdose and failure to process it.

Silicon in large quantities is very rarely found in waters, but in some waters silicon is sufficient to have a noticeable effect. Waters containing more than 25mg/l of silicon can be called silicon-containing, health- and beauty-enhancing waters.

Properly selected water can be an excellent source of natural silicon and other elements, as micro and macro elements from natural waters are absorbed by the body more effectively than from food or sports nutritional supplements.

It is undesirable to keep any water in direct sunlight, neither glass nor plastic bottles. Of course, there is nothing better than water in a glass bottle. This information is even more significant for those who live in countries where PET packaging is more popular than others.

It is especially important in the summer.

For several years, walking along the beach in the summer, I observe how young mothers, out of ignorance, hold a plastic bottle with water or any other drink directly in the sun. And after that, suspecting nothing, they drink this water and give it to their children.

What happens to water in the sun?

The water heats up like in a kettle and begins to slowly but surely melt the plastic. Overheated plastic, in turn, releases harmful substances into the water. 

 

Therefore, water overheated in the sun should never be drunk! Especially children!
